about curatorial

My project, #dailybeautyintheageofcoronavirus, began with the shelter in place order. Each day I photographed the beauty that I found on my daily walk in the Mission District, SF where I reside.  It seems we can all use more loveliness in our lives right now. Originally I planned to continue this project until the end of shelter in place, but with the ongoing restrictions due to the pandemic, I decided to complete the project on Day 100.

This series is a fundraiser for multiple worthy organizations offering COVID-19 relief or Social Justice. I'm offering 8.5" x 11" editioned, archival prints of this series. Simply make a $50 (or more) donation to SF-Marin Food Bank, Meals on Wheels, ACLU, Tipping Point, The Safety Net Fund (for Bay Area Artists), NAACP, Black Earth Farms or Campaign Zero.

Email me proof of your donation, mailing address, and which photograph you wish to receive; and I will send your new art.
